New beginnings
As we’ve moved away from the June election date I have found myself busy with different opportunities. Along with over 20 other persons we have established the National Women’s Political Caucus of the Inland Emprite. This is an organization that is focused on helping women gain positions in government through election and appointment. It is exciting to be on the ground floor and to build up a local organization like this. I will be serving as the Vice President–Political Action Committee for the next two years and expect that I will be able to use my experience to guide and encourage other candidates as they seek offices.
The NWCP is a non-partisan organization and welcomes both men and women to membership although they focus their endorsement process on women. I am looking forward to staying in tune with the local pulse through my work in this organization and welcome any one who is interested to get in touch with me and I will guide you to the most appropriate person or group to become a member.
