Clarity
Clarity is the ability to communicate both honestly and at a level where all can understand the basic honesty and reality of a finding, transaction, or decision.
Within the Auditor’s office it is important that not only Countywide transactions are monitored, corrected, and reported without bias, malice, or subjectiveness but that the transactions, projects, goals, and objectives of the Auditor’s office also are performed and developed as within a glass house — Windex style.
As Auditor I promise to strive to develop an inner office atmosphere that encourages clear, precise, and complete communication. Staff will be alotted appropriate training, goals, and objectives to support their various functionalities and errors, omissions, and lapses will be treated as a learning experience and a growth opportunity. Not that they will be repeated but that in the trying to reach a functional excellence it is recognized that first attempts do not always succeed and alternative solutions are welcome in an open forum.
